CURTIS STYLES on Solar Records Radio 

Over 40 years of musical experience touring and recording. Currently, working as an independent keyboardist, songwriter, producer, arranger and pro-tools engineer @ "The Spot" Recording Studio in Teaneck, New Jersey. Curtis has recorded, performed, and toured with various musical groups and artists such as......"Just Us, Der Kinky Foxx, Ray Barretto, Gloria Gaynor, Alyson Williams, Me'lisa Morgan, Slave Hall of Fame, The Buddy Hank Band, The BB&Q Band aka (The Brooklyn Bronx & Queens Band), Take 5, The Temple Dynasty, Force MD's, Silk, Jagged Edge, The New York Funk All Stars", Steve Adorno & Lori Rose.... to name a few. 

     Curtis wrote and recorded the song "You're my Latest Inspiration" with the group Just Us in 1981..... a song with a major European vinyl record cult following in Europe and the United States.   

     Curtis toured and recorded with the New York City based and Canadian renowned rock/funk band "Der Kinky Foxx" for 10 years during the 80's as keyboardist/vocalist.  Recorded with the Foxx on the cult single "So Different" released by Sound of New York Records in 1983. The single reached the top of the British Soul/Disco charts and continues to be in demand by clubs and DJ's in Europe, and in the United States by rare record collectors. 

     More recently (2013-2020), Curtis has been touring and performing with "The BB&Q Band" in Europe. The group recently toured last year in Belgium, Amsterdam, France & England.
