Testing the Truth-sounds kind of arrogant, doesn't it? Isn't Truth above testing? Well, if truth is above testing then how do you know if what you believe IS the truth? The Identity of Belief is knowing WHAT you believe, WHY you believe it, and HOW to practice that belief. Discovering your IDENTITY OF BELIEF is TESTING THE TRUTH! 

Have you ever heard someone say to you when they are just about to do something nasty to you, "It's nothing personal"? And then it always turns out to be very personal! Your Identity of Truth is personal, but TRUTH is 'nothing personal'. Truth simply IS what it IS. "Truth is singular and absolute" (Rick Sterling). Truth is NOTHING PERSONAL.  And because this is true, Christians, and indeed everyone, must come to the recognition that there is no such thing as a personal Savior; a savior that saves you IN your sin, with whom you can negotiate your own salvation. You must learn the truth, and you WILL find salvation through the Words and teachings of the one that brought the truth from Heaven to earth, Jesus Christ the Son of God (John 18:37).
