You have certainly heard the expression that goes something like, "I will let NOTHING stop me." We take this to mean that we won't let anything desuade us from our goals. This is a noble sentiment. And yet, almost everyone has literally put this expression into practice, because they have literally let NOTHING stop them.

Paul puts it like this:  "For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not. Rom. 7:18.

Could it be that what Paul meant was that LITERALLY "Nothing Good"  was in fact dwelling within him? That an entity named "Nothing Good" was influencing his thought processes, and that entity was up to NO GOOD? What If NOTHING is literal, just as 0 (zero) is literal, which means that NOTHING is SOMETHING. The heart/soul is literally the INTELLECT. If our INTELLECT/HEART is controled by this Nothing then that could be the reason why we don't understand Truth the way God wants us to. Everyone on earth HAS BEEN deceived, and the instigator of that deception is NOTHING GOOD. We have opened our hearts, yes our intellect (mind, soul) to that which is attempting to cause havoc in our understanding of truth, so that lies appear as truth, and truth as lies.

And Jesus answered and said to them, "See to it that no one misleads you." Matt.24:4. Maybe when Jesus said "no one", He actually meant "NoOne", that same NoOne that is the 'Nothing' that harassed Paul, and caused him to believe a lie a if it was the truth; the same Nothing that stops people from achieving their dreams; the same Nothing Good that is in fact the spirit of Lies masquerading as the Spirit of Truth. This is warfare of the spirit/ heart/intellect at its most brutal. Just think about it.
