Re-opening~

The world has been closed down by COVID-19. The economic and social disaster generatied by this virus is incalculable. Everything has changed, and nothing will be the same. We will be living under a new set of rules that will affect every aspect of our lives, as the governments of the world begin the process of reopening their economies. As a result of these economic and social changes there are many people that are looking to lay the blame on China for the death and economic destruction caused by this virus, that even if not released on purpose as a bio-weapon was the epicenter of the start of the virus going out into the world, and that China should be held responsible and be made to pay reparations. How this would work I have no clue.

I do know that the truth of this will eventually be made plain, just as I know that the truth of who is ultimately responsible for sin entering the world will also be made clear. Truth Will Out!

I also know that this pandemic has caused many of my friends and co-workers to begin to think seriously about their spiritual lives, seeing how fragile life can be. I have also seen that those people that believe that they have a strong understanding of the truth of how salvation works are more at peace that those that don't. Even if they are wrong about salvation, they don't know they are wrong, and are therefore less likely to worry.

Reopening the country/countries is necessary in order to put people back to work, and renew economic growth. But reopening the intellect to see and understand what IS truth, and what is not the truth about how salvation works is even more important. While there are temporary economic consequenses for one, there are massive eternal consequences for the other. Right now we are being given a unique opportunity to share the Truth about God with our world. Let's not waste it!
