It is looking pretty dark out there in the world of politics, what with the attack on the Capital Building in Washington DC by rioters that are purported to be Trump supporters. The story is not yet fully known, but the Left and the Dems are having a 'field day' in condemning President Trump as the one that incited these people to take over the Capital and wreck havoc inside the halls and chambers of the House and the Senate. The Main Stream Media is also enjoying the ability to spin this story to make it appear to their viewers that President Trump will have to step down before his 'final' 10 days in office are over. The outcome that the Patriots and the Right expected looks to be a thing of the past, and it to those of us that have been listening to this program for the past 3 months have been 'snookered' into believing that God has indeed abandoned us to the tender mercies of Revelation 13, and the hell on earth that will come from a One-World Government.

This situation reminds me of that poem by Ella Wheeler Wilcox that my mother taught me when I was a child,  that was modified by her own mother to make it easier to remember. It goes like this:

"It is easy enough to smile when the world goes along like a song; but the one that's worthwhile is the one that can smile, when everything goes dead wrong."

Smiling in the face of defeat gives you the opportunity to look at the situation with different eyes, and a different perspective. This helps you to see things that you might have missed, and makes is possible to see that hand of God even in the darkest hour. 

As God told Joshua, he says the same thing to us today:

""No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you." Jos. 1:5.

Trust in God, and trust in the plan!
