The last 15 minutes of yesterday's program were some of the most important minutes that have ever been heard about salvation on any forum, or in any format! This is ot hyperbole, it is simply the truth. If you missed it we will be continuing with expanding this information on today's broadcast here on blogtalkradio.com/sot, but I will recap what Rick said yesterday here in these notes just in case you don't get a chance to listen to the program presented today.

Are we saved by association? Are we condemned to destruction because we are a member of a religious organization? In the parable of the Wedding Feast descirbed by Jesus in Matthew 22, a person (a man) entered the wedding feast without the proper wedding garment. He came to the feast thinking that simply because he was there at the feast he would be included in the festivities without restriction. He was wrong. When his perfidy was discovered by the Father of the Groom, he was cast out of the Wedding Feast to a place of destruction.

The guests Feast is the Kingdom of God, and the guest gained entry because they came to the feast already wearing their garments of righteousness. Unlike the man described above they didn't come into the Feast in filthy rags, expecting to be given Righteousness just because they said that they had been invited. That invitation contained the description of the Robe of Righteousness that all who would enter must already possess. The 'Friend' that got into the feast without this garment was thrown out upon discovery.

If you think you are already in the Kingdom of God because you belong to a specific church or denomination, and that organization has all the truth needed with with to be saved, you will experience the fruit of guilt by association, which is death. The garment of Righteousness is the Truth sent from God through Jesus. Any other words by anyone else are not the truth.
