TOM O'DONNELL. I AM SUZANNE'S HUSBAND. ON SEPTEMBER 24TH 1966 ON THE ALTAR OF ST. ELIZABETHH'S CHURCH IN MANHATTAN, GOD JOINED US BOTH TOGETHER TIL DEATH DO US PART. THE LINE TODAY IS TO BE CONTINUED IN HEAVEN. I THINK I WILL PUT THAT LINE ON MY TOMBSTONE,"TO BE CONTINUED"
WHEN ST. PETER ASKS ME ME WHY I AM HERE. ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS I'M WITH SWEET SUZANNE. THE GATE SWINGS WIDE OPEN. THE FIRST TIME I SAW HER WAS IN CHURCH AT SUNDAY MASS. ALL THE GOOD ONES ARE IN CHURCH.
SHE WAS AN RN GRADUATE OF ST, VINCENTS NURSING SCHOOL. UPON HER GRADUATION SHE AND MANY OF HER CLASSMATES WENT TO WORK AT SLOAN KETTERING CANCER HOSPITAL. TAKING CARE OF CANCER BABIES. THE MOST HEART BRAKING JOB A YOUNG GIRL OR ANYBODY CAN HAVE. HER FELLOW NURSES TOLD ME SHE WORKED FULL WEEKS WITH THE KIDS .
MOST NURSES COULD ONLY HANDLE THREE DAYS. AT THE END OF HER LIFE SHE WORKED AT CARMEL RICHMOND NURSING HOME ON STATEN ISLAND.HER MOTHER AND MY FATHER FINISHED UP THERE. I HAD TWO GUARDIAN ANGELS THAT BECAME ALCOHOLICS. SO GOD SENT ME SUZY. SAVED BY THE CHUCH BELL.
AT HER 80TH BIRTHDAY PARTY SHE HAD A SEIZURE. 911 TOOK HER TO UNIVERSITY HOSPTAL WHERE SHE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH GLIOBLASTOMA. A DEADLY FORM OF BRAIN CANCER.
OPERATION REMOVED PART OF THE CANCER.SHE CAME HOME HAD A SECOND SEIZURE. THIS TIME PARYLIZED ON HER LEFT SIDE, WHILE IN THE HOSPIAL SHE DEVELOPED A TAILBONE WOUND THE SIZE OF A BASEBALL.
EVERYBODY WHO KNOWS SUZY LOVES HER. SHE BRIGHTENS UP A ROOM WHEN SHE WALKS IN. GOD LOVING AND COMPASSIONATE.
A MOUSE WAS CAUGHT IN OUR TRAP BUT STILL ALIVE . SUZY RELEASED THE MOUSE AND PERFORMED CPR THEN SHE SET IT FREE. WE TEASED HER AND SAID THAT SHE SANG BORN FREE. BUT THAT WAS SUZY.
OUR COVERAGE RUNS OUT ON MARCH 25TH. WE HAVE TO PAY $475.00 A DAY TO STAY. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP. TOM AND SUZY. I WILL KEEP YOU POSTED.
