An equal parenting bill is moving forward in the Missouri Senate.  It is known as SB14.  A previous version of this bill passed the Missouri House of Representatives last year by a vote of 137-7.  It was known as HB1667 at that time. Nobody knows for sure whether this bill will become law.  But it seems to stand a good chance given how it passed the Missouri House of Representatives last year by a sweeing margin and now is being perfected for a vote in the Missouri Senate.  It would also mark a big change in Missouri custody litigation because it would create a rebuttable presumption that fifty-fifty custody should be entered in every case in Missouri.  To find out more, you can call us at 855-805-0595 or by reading about our custody lawyers online.  This podcast is based on an article titled: Missouri Equal Parenting Bill (HB1667) on the Doorsteps.
