The Reverend Joann White is an ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament with the Presbyterian Church (USA) and a certified spiritual director. Rev. White began her service with the First Presbyterian Church of Saranac Lake, New York, in January 2005. In September 2014, Rev. White and her congregation were awarded a sabbatical grant from the Lilly Endowment's National Clergy Renewal Program

Reverend White will share the reasons why she took her sabbatical to Scotland, where she went while there, and what she learned. Pastor Joann will also discuss prayer and its power to lead out of darkness and back to light.
