Husband and wife Caryn and Peter Boddie combined their love of the outdoors with their enthusiasm for history to craft two non-fiction works. Lost Ski Areas of Colorado’s Front Range and Northern Mountains and Lost Ski Areas of Colorado's Central and Southern Mountains reveal the story beneath the story of skiing in the state.

Colorado lays claim to many famous people of the American west and played a major part in the settlment of the nation, but Caryn and Peter chose to explore a seldom researched aspect of its colorful history.
