Mistakes, bad decisions, and wrong turns along life’s path can leave us mired in the mud of regret and remorse, sinking deeper into despair by the millstones of shame and guilt. The memory of our past sins mars our present and separates us from a future that fulfills God’s purposes. How can we break the chains of contempt our past transgressions place on our conscience and live free in the knowledge of God’s grace, love and forgiveness?
Author Dana Goodrum has written a book entitled Open With Your Broken, where she shares a testimony that takes readers to the depths of her brokenness. Dana takes readers through her journey from a life of sin and darkness to acceptance of the freedom offered to all of us through the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. She teaches how gaining power over our past can give glory to God and enable us to expand His kingdom and emphasizes the importance of transparency about our past.
Join us Tuesday, October 9th at 8:00 a.m. MDT or on archive when Dana shares the motivation behind the writing of her book and the message it conveys about forgiving ourselves for our mistakes, accepting God's forgiveness, and allowing a transformation that glorifies God's kingdom
