Catherine Ulrich Brakefield is an award-winning author of faith-based historical romance. Her  four-book Destiny series follows the life of a family from the beginning of World War I up through World War II. Catherine also has two pictorial history books in print, as well as short stories in books published by Guideposts and other Christian publishers.

Catherine resides in Michigan with Edward, her husband of 45 years and their Arabian horses. They are proud grandparents to two handsome grandsons and two beautiful granddaughters. Catherine enjoys swimming, horseback riding, and traveling America.
