The Bible shows us time and time again that God can use anyone, from anywhere, to accomplish anything. These Bible stories are fascinating, and it is truly amazing that thousands of years later, He continues to call those we may least expect into His service. No matter our difficult childhood experiences, poor choices, or failure to see our own strengths, God empowers us with the resources and the ability to further His kingdom.

Pete Charette is one such person. A former drug and alcohol abuser and drug dealer, Pete is today a pastor and author. A graduate of Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, he earned a Master’s Degree in New Testament. Pete learned that his strength is teaching. He has used this gift to address a major problem in our churches today through small group instruction, one on one teaching, and the publication of his book, Discipleship: Living Out the Mandate of God. His book presents the process by which disciples can be developed into Christian ministry.
