Have black people in America gotten a better life through slavery?

 Here we go family with another thought-provoking topic of discussion for you. Eye know that some of you might be saying hell to with Culture Freedom, but there are some who are saying yes indeed we need it.. Some say that if we had stayed in Africa we would still be running around like some wild Savages. And they even say that the natives of America weren't doing anything with this land either. So is it true that they help civilized black people through slavery? And how much better off would we have been without slavery? And did slavery were make us or broke us?
