Scott Carpenter actively researched the Bigfoot phenomenon and other cryptids from 2008 to 2015. Scott began researching after making whoop calls on a whim while fishing off the shore of a public recreational area. To his shock and amazement, his halfhearted whoop call got a response in the form of a very agitated unseen subject coming near the water’s edge to investigate. This encounter was the catalyst for Scott to go investigate the area and unwittingly started his “research career.”
Scott is the author of three active websites and six books on the subject to include: “The Bigfoot Field Journal Volumes I & II”, “The Dogman, Monsters Are Real”, “The Nephilim Among Us”, “Truth Denied – The Sasquatch DNA Study” and his latest release "The Sasquatch Awareness Project". When Scott was actively researching, he investigated areas to include the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and recreational land adjacent or near the park.
As a member of North American Bigfoot Search (NABS), Scott participated in the ground-breaking Sasquatch Genome Study, contributing multiple hair and saliva samples, eleven of which were used in the study.
Scott’s research has also been featured on the television show “Finding Bigfoot” and more recently, Scott’s work was featured on award winning series by Les Stroud, “Survivor Man: Bigfoot.”
