Join us this evening for a special disucssion entitled "A Double Consciousness" with Dr. Jeremy Edwards; teacher, author, researcher, activist and  lead facilitator of the 5th cohort of Community Sentinels Leadership Academy. Survivors of Crime who are also Black in the United States are often times met with a disparity of resources-- financial resources lack, educational resources lack, and even social psychological resources lack in our community but how has that lack been constructed, how does it effect everyday lives and how can the lack be replenished? Today we discuss a key theory from one of the greats; WEB Dubois black double consciousness.
