A Reiki Master-Teacher since 1988, Lois has taught and initiated several hundreds of students over the years. She is a Professional Certified PaRama Level BodyTalk Practitioner, and has been practicing BodyTalk since early 2002. She is an Advanced facilitator of PSYCH-K, taught by Larry Valmore. Most important of all, she is honored to be the founder of EDINA Energy Medicine. EDINA is a form of healing work which draws together many healing techniques utilized by the Ancients and which, due to the fall in human consciousness millennia ago, have been fragmented and spread over the planet, preserved in various cultures. EDINA brings them back together into a whole and cohesive system.
She also writes for "Sedona Journal" magazine under the pen name, "Lotus Fire."
Lois' academic background includes a BA in art education, an MFA in painting and drawing from the University of North Texas, as well as extensive post-graduate studies in clinical psychology and art therapy from the University of Houston at Clear Lake City.
Trained as a shaman by Sandra Ingerman of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies in 1990, she has been practicing shamanism for twenty years. She took most of her BodyTalk classes with the BodyTalk System's founder, Dr. John Veltheim, and has studied past lives with Richard Sutphen, author of "Past Lives, Future Loves." She also has extensive experience with sound vibration healing.
Lois has many, many past lives--among them revolutionaries, soldiers and warriors. Additionally, she is part Cherokee, and comes from a long line of warriors on her father's side.
