NFL Weekly Wrap Up: Conference Championships (2015)

This past weekend we saw 2 shocking outcomes in the Conference Championship round of the 2015 NFL Playoffs and we now know who will be facing off in the 2015 Super Bowl! First we had the Seattle Seahawks pull off one of the most miraculous comebacks in NFL Playoff history (especially considering the circumstances), then we witnessed the New England Patriots manhandle the Indianapolis Colts and their high powered offence.

Green Bay led the Hawks 16-0 late in the third quarter of the NFC Championship only to have the Hawks come back with every inch of fight them had left in them and eventually win in overtime with a final score of Green Bay 22 Seattle 28. From toss up 2 point conversions to onside kick recoveries, the Hawks never gave up and as a result they will be representing the NFC in Super Bowl 49.

The New England Patriots mopped the floor with the Indianapolis Colts with a final score of Indianapolis 7 New England 45. The game was pretty much over as soon as it started and the Patriots defense was outstanding helping lead Bill Belichick and Tom Brady to their NFL Record breaking 6th Super Bowl together.
