Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we'll be discussing limitations. The question we're asking is how far is too far? With recent events such as Snoop Dogg shooting a fake gun at a mime dressed up as President Donald Trump and most recently, comedian/actress Kathy Griffin holding what looks like a replicated head of Donald Trump with no body attached and fake blood running down its entire face. The image is so disturbing that media outlets have blurred it out because it is simply too explicit to show to viewers. Kathy Griffin has since been fired from co-hosting CNN's 2017 New Year's Eve show.
This leads us into the much needed conversation of how far is too far. So do you think Snoop Dogg and Kathy Griffin went too far with their freedom of speech? Which image was worse? Did any of these images bother you at all? Should there be consequences for people who exercise their freedom of speech using violent and offensive images and expressions against the leader of the free world? If so, what should those consequences be? Have you ever had someone cross the line when expressing their self to you? If so, how did you handle it?
You see where we're going with this? This discussion could spend off in so many different realms, which is why we thought this would make for an interesting discussion. It's time to lock in and get real!
