Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we'll be discussing facing the aftermath of vicious hurricanes such as Hurricane Harvey's impact on Texas and Hurricane Irma's impact on Florida. These Hurricanes caused tremendous damage and their impact will be in the history books. Now that the storms are over, citizens and families are left to pick up the pieces. Many will have to rebuild and replace as their homes and belongings have been destroyed in the wrath of the storm. Though only victims of natural disasters such as floods, tornadoes and hurricanes can directly identify with the victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, many of us have lost homes and valuables and were left to start over. So what our goal is tonight is to have an in depth discussion about facing those harsh realities and how to persevere from them.
It's important to let people know that they're not alone and that we relate and are thinking of them. Just acknowledging others when they're going through it can have more of an impact than most will ever realize which is why we're here and decided to cover this topic. That will be the discussion for the first half of our show.
On the second half of our show, we'll be discussing what to do if a powerful Hurricane such as a Category 4 or Category 5 is headed your way. Texans and Floridians were warned to evacuate how impact areas, which most listened and evacuated if they could, but there were a number of people who stood put to ride it out for various reasons and the million dollar question for this discussion is, is it worth the risk? Then again, if the roads headed out of town are caught in a traffic jam, then what? Would it be better to ride it out at home, or try to find the nearest shelter?
There are intriguing questions that we will be addressing on tonight's show. Don't miss out!
