February 2019 has been one of the worst Black History Month's in recent time. Jussie Smollett allegedly lies about being a victim of a homophobic/racist attack and as a result, may lose his role on Empire, the opportunity to find more work in Hollywood and worst of all, potentially do jail time, all while slapping his fellow Blacks and LGBT Community in the face. R. Kelly finally gets indicted for sexual assault allegations (fueled by the Life Time docuseries "Surviving R. Kelly") only to be bailed out and now free to lurk again until his trial, comedian/podcaster Joe Rogan gets exposed by Info Wars creator Alex Jones for calling Black people apes, clothing line powerhouse "Gucci" releases a sweater depicting the racially and stereotypically offensive "Black Face" and Black Panther loses the Oscars "Best Picture Award" to Green Book, GREEN BOOK? GREEN BOOK! (Soldier Boy voice). A nice slap in the face to Black America to end 2019's Black History Month off in typical European fashion.

To rub it in even more, there are some behind the scenes issues going on and the continuation for "It's Real Talk Radio" for the near future is heavily in question and it's not looking too promising. This is why you haven't seen a show posted in weeks. When I say this is one of the worst Black History Months in recent times, I really mean it from the core of my stomach! Well tonight it's time to let off some steam and put it out into the atmosphere. Y'all know how we do on IRTR, there will be no punches held. Why? Cuz we give you Real Talk with Real People. Callers are welcome to get in on this discussion. It's time to let loose.
