A Living Sacrifice

12 I appeal to you therefore, brothers,  by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world,[c] but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:1-2)

Princeton Seminary Professor John Murray impresses with this observation of spirituality, "we are not spiritual in the biblical sense except as the use of our bodies is characterized by conscious, intelligent, consecrated, devotion to the service of God. What does that type of devotion look like? The mainstay of our Christianity is RELATIONSHIP. In Jesus day, the religious group got it all wrong. God is our Father. As we study the lesson let us be mindful of this short video in the context of relationship. Today we will explore the scriptures to gain biblical insight on being spiritual.
