The very day President Barack Obama warned an international gathering of police chiefs about the latest technology that instantly exposes an officer's wrongdoing, the cell phone video of a police officer's vicious attack on a Spring Valley, South Carolina high school girl went viral. People around the world have watched the officer brutally choking and dragging across the floor a student in a classroom for what infraction? She wouldn't stop texting on her cell phone. Parents are outraged, but it seems that the officer is not alone in his guilt. Where were the adults in the school who should have protected her and stopped this? Have South Carolina police so terrorized the citizens that everyone is too afraid to hollar STOP? What should happen to the officer and to all the adults who allowed this to happen, so that our children are protected from ever suffering this kind of abuse again
