Julian High School Diving Champion Proves Opportunity Brings Success

Inner city youth often excel in basketball, simply because there are basketball courts where they live. But where there are no tennis courts, ice skating rinks, golf courses or swimming pools, there will be few champions in tennis, ice skating, golf or swimming.  What is needed is simply opportunity when Julian High School gymnastics tumbler Aaron Williams as discovered by Coach Janczewski, known as Coach G, the school diving coach, she saw the makings of a diving champ. And so it is. Today we'll talk about how talent plus opportunity leads to success.
