Many young people have unfortunately been embroiled in the criminal justice system and have served time. The challenge to find employment after being in prison is often overwhelming. And yet, a mistake early in life does not have to condemn one to poverty, unemployment or a life of crime forever. Today's guest, Kublai Toure, of the organization Amer-I-can joins us to examine how men from the 'hood can learn independent skills and become successful business owners. They can also learn the social skills and ethical principles to become an assett, rather than an adversary, in the communities in which they live. Sometimes it takes training, dedication, tenacity, and determination, along with tough love, to turn a former criminal into a productive citizen.
