Laughing and Loving in Chicago Comedy Show Raises Money For Hales

Hales Franciscan all boys High School provides the model of education many parents would like to see for their sons. Morals, ethics, self discipline, self respect, academic excellence, career goals. But for some families, the cost of this private Catholic institution is simply more than their budget can handle. So the alumni and the board of Hales created a fundraiser "Laughing and Loving in Chicago" in which eight comedians will perform their best comedy routines before a live audience, bringing the spirit of joy and laughter to Chicago. This event, spearheaded by 1967 Hales alumni Jerome P. Barney, will be taped for television and rebroadcast as a comedy series.
