Author James Roby's "Pale Horse: The Urban Knight " Introduces New Black Detective Hero

Novelist James Roby's main character in his book "Pale Horse: The Urban Knight" is the kind of James Bond/John Shaft type character that makes young boys fantasize about being a super detective. As one of the authors featured in the upcoming Soulful Chicago Bookfair, James Roby will introduce his detective series to book lovers from across the country. Today he discusses the personal experience that led to his creation of a character who glorifies the police work involved in being a detective.
