It is said that 11:00 on Sunday morning is the most segregated hour in America. Whites attend white churches and Blacks attend black churches. Racism has been woven into the fabric of the Christian religion in America, used historically to justify the enslavement of "non-Christian" Africans, and even today, many of the conservative Right Wing claims to be staunch Christians, believing that Blacks are inherently created inferior by God. Deep down, too many Black people seem to believe it also. How can the evil of racism co-exist with the teachings of Jesus Christ? Are other religions just as strong in upholding racism as a cornerstone of its doctrine? Isn't racism "Anti-Christ"? How does the clergy explain the support of racism by the church?
