Our guest is DR. KHAILFANI RIVERS, an Herbal Physician with 30 years experience as a Health Practitioner.

When one person in a family has a problem, be it drugs, alcohol, or other addictive behavior, often their spouse or other loved one is, with their own behavior, helping to keep the habit alive. People unknowingly attract partners that feed a need they have. One who feels unworthy of love and good treatment will attract an abuser; one who feels they must assume the role of parent, even in an adult relationship, will attract a immature adult who behaves irresponsibly and needs to be taken care of.  People stay in unhealthy relationships as long as they are unhealthy. They are co-dependents in a situation that may be destructive to both parties. How do you reconize when you are co-dependent? How do you break free?
