The absence of men in urban communities is a fact we often bemoan, but the call for men to step up and mentor fatherless boys must recognize the tremendous challenge involved in entering the life of a child that is not ones own. Today's guests are involved in a program called "Books Over Balls" which involves youth in a basketball bootcamp as a means of introducing them to higher ideals in life through motivational speakers and exposure to events that raise their consciousness. Al Raiford, Kenneth Jones, and Revin Fellows discuss the issues surrounding mentoring boys and how other men can learn how to get involved.
