Many of us grew up in broken or dysfunctional families, where the mother and father ended their relationship, or were so hostile toward each other that the environment in our homes was constantly toxic. This may be affecting us to this day, whether it has created low self esteem as a result of verbal or physical abuse from one or both parents, or it has caused us to be unable to sustain a healthy personal relationship because we simply had no model of good behavior to immulate. Today we’ll look at the reality that we chose our parents and why, and how to forgive them so that we can heal inner wounds and evolve into emotional health and well being.
