Prison is a business, made profitable by broken families who are unable to protect their children from the call of the streets, the gang and crime life that awaits those whose families are too fractured to provide nurturing, guidance, and educational opportunities that enable a child to develop creative ideas that lead to economic stability.  Prison is the end result of communities that fall apart when families break up and men and women can no longer work together in the cohesive, cooperative relationship of husband and wife in the rearing of children. Prison is a homeless shelter for many who simply cannot survive in society because of emotional damage from a dysfunctional childhood.
