The Bill Cosby Sexual Assault case has been the topic of discussion for the last several days, with people taking positions ranging from "Those Women Are Just After Money" to "All These Men Are Just Dogs" and with all of the rants and venting, we often fail to look at the root cause of sexual misconduct. What do we teach our children about sex? Our core beliefs are twisted, with guilt and shame ridden notions of sin and wrongdoing attached to the act. Today we'll take a look at a book entitled "Making Love To God" by Tina Louise Spalding. We must teach boys the spirituality of sexuality, and eliminate the predator/prey relationship in which intimacy is described in vulgar terms and men see sex as someting to "get" from a woman. The spiritual bond created by sexual intimacy brings two souls closer to our Creator, when they understandng it. How do we reverse the negative indoctrination about sex as a dirty shameful sin in order to stop the degradation of women? How do we reconnect sexuality with spirituality?
