The relationship between men and women has become increasingly hateful and mean spirited. Why? Women are often angry at past experiences that have gone unaddressed. The anger eats away at them and they are projecting that anger onto their children, who then enteract with others in ways that express frustration, hurt and distrust. It creates a cycle of violence that has become a cultural norm. Women speak of liberation from demeaning relationships with men, but the Women's Lib movement has too often been a catalyst for vengeful actions toward men. This spirit of anger is unhealthy, both emotionally and spiritually, and does not bring a healing to the imbalance inside of us, but instead attracts more negative energy. What are women still harboring in their hearts that needs to be addressed and cleansed in order to rebuild a healthier environment? How can we build a sisterhood among women, not based on fear, manipulation, jealousy, competition, resentment, or vengeance, but on understanding, trust, and love?
