What happens when you raise a child through 12 years of public education and their history has been a teaspoon of it?

What does a parent do to bring a balance, value and reverence for their history when the classroom teacher is limited with instruction manuals and forced to teach and test from such and the school academic environment does not acknowledge your ancestors as foundational builders of this new nation?

Well Dianne and Kevin Smith had to get involved and get committed to the whole education of their daughter Jeanne Marie. They took creative measure to assure success in their parenting. Trusting that they could create a plan to meet their needs but found that more was required.

Dianne had to become a part of the power structure.

In spite of multiple family storms experiences this Wife, mother became Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) President for 10 years,  Recipient Volunteer in Public Education Gold Apple Award, Member and Secretary of the DeBose organization

Now that the daughter is in college, parents what do you do now?
