Criminalizing Intelligent Youth: Students Evicted From Ellison Charter School?

Seniors at Ralph Ellison Charter school demanded answers from the Principal as to why their teachers were quitting, why their classes were inconsistent, why they were not being adequately prepared for graduation and college. They staged a peaceful march inside the school building, hoping to get the administrators to hear their pleas for a quality education. Instead the dean of students called police and the students were evicted from the building. Today we are talking to students, teachers and community activists to find out why
