How do you choose the best candidate to vote for in an election? If you recently moved, can you still vote? How about if you served time in prison, are you still eligible to vote in an election? These questions and many more will be answered in a special Civics education series at Bethel AME Church at 4440 S. Michigan Avenue in Chicago this Saturday from 3:30 to 5:30 pm. Our guest today is Jeanette Foreman, Project Coordinator, to discuss the critical importance of empowering communities by teaching citizens their rights and responsibilities when it comes to electing the individuals who willrepresent them in the government.
