Lori Lightfoot finished in first place, with Toni Preckwinkle following in a close second. Either Lori Lightfoot or Toni Preckwinkle will make history as Chicago’s first African American Female Mayor. Only anestimated 17% of the voters went to the polls. What happened to the rest of the voting population? We’re they too discouraged?
