Grandmothers, Mothers, and Daughters: Sharing Secrets of Successful Womanhood

“As the tree bends, so bends the twigs.”  This saying capsulizes the idea that our parents’ influence determines our direction in life. Today we’re attending a special Grandmother-Mother-Daughter brunch sponsored by the International League of Muslim Women. Three generations have come together to demonstrate the importance of good mothering in order to produce and reproduce people who bring positive energy to the world, using their gifts, talents and skills to improve the quality of life for us all. How does a women discover her power to influence her home, community, nation and the world? We’ll talk to women who have been very influential in touching lives inthe spheres where they operate day to day.
