Cooperation, Not Competition: Removing Public Humiliation From Education

How many of us have a memory of a humiliating moment when we were called on in school to answer a question and we didn’t have the answer? The teacher made us feel bad and the memory of public humiliation stayed with us. If we experienced enough of those moments it damaged our confidence and self esteem forever. Why are we doing this to children? Learning should be fun, not painful. Today we’ll hear from some of our Voices of Enlightenment as we create a guideline for public and homeschooling systems based on love of knowledge and not fear of failure.
