Ted and Rhonda has been dating for two years when Rhonda got pregnant. They were in their early twenties and Ted said he wasn’t ready to get married. The lived together in an apartment for five years during which time Rhonda got all the financial benefits of being a single mom - the Link card for food, financial aid to finish college, subsidized housing. Ted worked two part time jobs and together they made ends meet. But during that five year period, Ted had a romantic encounter with Rhonda’s friend Crystal. She got pregnant. Rhonda and Ted has a bitter argument. He moved out and moved in with Crystal, whom he lived with for four years, during which time she had another child by him. Rhonda even heard they were planning to get married. Then Rhonda’s mother passed away and she received an inheritance of a house, a car, and a lot of money from a life insurance policy. After she moved into her newly inhehouse with her son, Ted contacted her and said he missed her, things weren’t working out with Crystal, can he come back and they try again? Rhonda is torn: he’s the father of her son, she still has feelings for him, but she is angry and deeply hurt over the break up. Should she try again? Under what conditions?
