Jerry and Joanne have been married for over 20 years and throughout the past 15 years they have struggled with the trauma of losing all of their children to the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). Financial hardship and emotional stress were part of the factors that led to the removal of six children from their home. Over the years Jerry and Joanne fought valiantly to retrieve their children from foster care, but to no avail. Now Jerry is in despair. It seems that his wife Joanne has turned to another man for comfort, and from Jerry’s point of view, the relationship appears dangerously abusive. After all they’ve been through, can this marriage be saved
