Beacon Light Ministries: Rising From Ashes To Still Serve Needy Families

Bishop Jerome Powell and his wife Conswella Powell survived what many would call a nightmare: their work of twenty years, Beacon Light Ministries church located on Chicago's far south side, went up in flames. Today they join us to discuss how, with the help of many compassionate friends, they will continue their vital ministry of distributing food and clothing each week to needy families in the economically challenged Roseland Community while they work to rebuild their church.
