Clifton Pierce joins us today to discuss an upcoming event Friday February 14, 2020 6pm at the DuSable Museum of African American History. Educator and community organizer Dr. Conrad Worrill will be honored for his lifetime of work in educating and uplifting the urban community. Head of the National Black United Front, Dr. Worrill has been instrumental in organizing youth and adults for civic action and community empowerment. Clifton Pierce examines the state of the urban community and the challenges of creating a self sustaining economy among people who have been conditioned to live in a state of dependency. How do we create new economic practices of the next generation?
