We hear of teen suicides all too often and every now and then a famous adult will choose to end their life. Every emotion carries a vibration that either lifts you up or drags you down. The emotion with the lowest vibration is shame. It is this emotion that often leads to suicide, someone feeling that they cannot face the public rejection, ridicule or even punitive consequences once an act they did becomes public. How do we handle the issue of shame and how do we help sensitive young people realize one moment of public embarrassment will not last forever and is no reason to end your life?
