This past Monday was Valentines Day, an annual celebration of love, and for many couples it was an opportunity to express the joy of romance. But Monday was also the commemoration of Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women and Girls, and we looked at the horrible statistics of unsolved violent crimes against females. Women seeking love must constantly be on guard against rape, exploitation and violence often perpetrated by those they know who claim to love them. What are we teaching our children about each gender? Why is there anger and distrust between those designed to unite as one? How do we end this long time "War Between the Sexes" and replace it with real love?
