Violence Reduction: The Impact of Gun Violence on Youth

Zhana will be joined by members of the National Black Nurses' Association (NBNA) Ad Hoc Committee on Violence Reduction. 

Zhana's guests today will include Carthenia Jefferson, of the NBNA and member of Black Women for Positive Change, and Phyllis Evans, Alabama Juvenile Correctional Officer.  Carthenia is both a lawyer and a nurse. 

In Britain, knife violence is more prevalent than gun violence, but both are on the increase. 

Zhana holds the annual Blogging Carnival for Nonviolence as part of the annual Month of Nonviolence held by Black Women for Positive Change.
