Introduction to "Parenting With Peace": The Real Solution To Youth Violence

The increase in violence is a global phenomenon that has many baffled. What's wrong with people, why are they hurting other people? Why are our youth so out of control? What should the government be doing about this problem? Everybody who is running for anything is blaming their opponent for the increase in violence, when in truth, we are all responsible for creating it, Parenting With Peace, an online class to be launched in the summer of 2022, begins the process of preparing a generatino of New Thought leaders who will create a world based on the principles of joy, compassion and love for others. Today, as we introduce the Parenting With Peace class, we will examine some of the old concepts that must be set aside in order to create a new society. "You can't put new wine in old wineskins" is the advice quoted in the Bible from the great teacher we know as Jesus. This means that the new, empowering information available in these times cannot be held in a mind conditioned by old beliefs. If we truly are tired of living in fear of violence, we have the keys right at our fingertips. Let's choose to use them.
