In this MEN ONLY Discussion led by co-host Karriem Hameed, we explore the question "Should The Government Pay American Born Blacks Reparations For Slavery?" Many issues have to be considered, such as, Haven't the descendants of slaves been in the U.S. long enough to create enterprises like the other immigrants, many who just got here? And, Don't we now know that not all blacks born in America descended from slaves, many came here free, remained free, and some even owned slaves themselves!  And what about families,(like the Obamas) where some parts of the family are from recent African imigrants, are they still entitled to reparations even though their ancestors were not enslaved?
