Working For PEACE - Private Economically Assisted Cooperative Environment

There is an epidemic of Homelessness throughout America and in Chicago the citizens are alarmed that long time unhoused citizens are taking a back seat to recent migrants from Venezuela when it comes to emergency housing services. This need not be, if we all pitch in and help each other. Some organizations, like Catholic Charities, are helping families by paying rent in a clean, safe apartment for one year, giving individuals time to get on their feet. The Female Solution is introducing a program that will encourage other organizations to do the same. It's called PEACE, which stands for Private Economically Assisted Cooperative Environment. Today we examine how this program can help the unhoused get their lives together.
